HUCK Seiltechnik is providing customized net and adventure solutions for the new WipfelErlebnisWelt in Bad Harzburg. At heights of up to 26 metres, Germany’s highest adventure playground is taking shape, featuring spectacular net tunnels, climbing elements and unique nature experiences.

With the new WipfelErlebnisWelt, an extraordinary adventure space is being created high above the forest floor in Bad Harzburg – and HUCK Seiltechnik, as a specialist for customized net and adventure solutions, is proud to be part of this forward-looking project.

The Burgberg adventure destination is already one of the most popular excursion sites in the Harz region. With the Harz Cable Glide and the Harz Treetop Walk, the area attracts around 200,000 visitors every year.

Now, the existing attraction portfolio is being expanded with a completely new highlight: Germany’s highest adventure playground is being built at heights of up to 26 metres, directly connected to the treetop walk. For this new adventure area, HUCK is developing and supplying individually manufactured net and climbing elements that combine movement, adventure and nature experiences. The plans include spacious net tunnels, walkable spider nets and various adventure zones that allow visitors to experience nature from entirely new perspectives.

Special attention is being paid to creating a safe, durable and emotionally engaging adventure design. The net solutions create open movement spaces at lofty heights while blending harmoniously into the natural surroundings of the Harz mountains.

“Projects like this demonstrate how versatile modern net architecture can be today – functioning simultaneously as an adventure space, movement area and architectural design element,” explains Valentin Huck, Managing Director of HUCK Seiltechnik.

The new WipfelErlebnisWelt is being developed on the site of the former SKYROPE high ropes course and will combine adventure, nature experiences and environmental education. The attraction will also include new recreation areas, interactive learning stations and additional family-friendly adventure features.

We are looking forward to an outstanding project together with Harzventure.
