We’ll Be There: HUCK at the Congress “Inclusive Areas for Play and Movement” 2026
On 29 and 30 September 2026, the Congress “Inclusive Areas for Play and Movement” will take place in Cologne for the first time. This new specialist event focuses on the planning and design of inclusive play and movement spaces – a topic that has become increasingly important in recent years.
HUCK will also be taking part in the congress.
For us, the inclusive design of play and movement areas is an important topic for the future. Modern outdoor spaces should encourage children, young people and adults to be active, take different abilities into account and enable participation for as many people as possible. Achieving this requires well-thought-out concepts, suitable equipment and close exchange between everyone involved.
This is exactly where the new congress comes in. The event brings together experts from science and practice, municipalities, planning offices, clubs and associations. The programme will focus on specialist presentations, different planning approaches, innovative design options and successful practical examples. Direct dialogue between participants, as well as the perspectives of those affected, will also play an important role.
In addition to the lecture programme, optional excursions to inclusively planned areas in Cologne are planned. This means the congress will not only provide theoretical input, but also offer concrete insights into practical implementation.
We look forward to meeting planners, municipal representatives and other industry professionals on site. After all, inclusive play and movement spaces are created where experience, expertise, creativity and sensitivity come together.
We’ll be there – and we look forward to the exchange in Cologne.
